It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to maintain an undertaking establishment or to operate as an undertaker or mortician in the City of Hometown without first having obtained a license as herein provided. The fee for such license shall be $50 plus an additional fee based on the square foot area requirements of § 11.16. No license shall be issued except upon the payment of the fee. Applications for such licenses shall conform to the general provision of this chapter on licenses.[1]
