(A)
Any person who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects, permits, allows, or refuses to comply with or who resists enforcement of any provision of this chapter shall be fined as follows, unless a different fine is provided for under another section of this chapter:[1]
(1)
For violations of § 16.54, a fine of not less than $20 for the first offense, and for each additional offense thereafter in the same calendar year, the sum of $20 for each such offense shall be added to said fine, so that the fine for the latest offense shall be the number of violations multiplied by $20, but shall in no case exceed $750.
(2)
For violations of other sections, such person shall be subject to a fine of not less than $20 nor more than $750 for each offense. Nothing in this subsection shall prevent the City from prosecuting for several violations of the same section on the same day or for each day of said violation, although the same may continue; and each of said violations shall be separate and distinct violations and subject to the penalties of this subsection.
