[HISTORY: Adopted by the Council of the Borough of Darby 3-5-1975 by Ord. No. 557. Amendments noted where applicable.]
The Darby Firemen's Relief Association of Darby, Pennsylvania,
is hereby officially recognized by the Borough Council of the Borough
of Darby, and the said Darby Firemen's Relief Association is hereby
designated by the Council of said Borough as the proper association
to receive such funds as are due and payable to the Borough treasury
by the Treasurer of the State of Pennsylvania from the 2% tax on premiums
from foreign fire insurance companies.
There is hereby annually appropriated from the Borough treasury
all such sum or sums of money that may hereafter be paid into the
aforesaid Borough treasury by the Treasurer of the State of Pennsylvania
on account of taxes paid on premiums by foreign fire insurance companies
and pursuant to an Act of Assembly in such cases made and provided.
