Henceforth, no bridges, culverts, tunnels or sewers shall be constructed
or reconstructed across or in Girty's Run within the limits of
the Township of Shaler unless the abutments and walls thereof shall
be constructed of stone, cement, concrete or similar composition of
equal stability and durability approved by the Committee on Public
Works in said Township, and all bridges, culverts, tunnels or sewers
erected or reconstructed over or in Girty's Run shall have a
height of not less than eight feet in the clear and be of such width
as now required by Township Ordinance No. 24, entitled "An Ordinance
Establishing the Width of Girty's Run, etc."[1]

Hereafter, all walls and other devices and structures erected along
the course of said Girty's Run shall be of stone, cement, concrete
or similar compound of equal stability and durability.
All erections or structures hereafter undertaken in violation
of the terms of this article are hereby declared to be public nuisances,
and it shall be the duty of the Township Supervisor to prevent and
abate such nuisance forthwith.

Any person, firm, corporation or group of individuals found
in violation of this article shall, upon conviction thereof before
the issuing authority, be subject to a fine of up to $1,000 and may
be sentenced to a period of incarceration not exceeding 90 days in
the Allegheny County Jail. Each incident in violation of this article
shall be considered a separate offense and may be punishable as such.
