A joint action ordinance of the Board of Supervisors of Winnebago
County, providing for a county-municipal joint action emergency government
plan of organization, was adopted by the County Board on January 1,
1975, a copy of such County ordinance is on file in the office of
the Town Clerk and made a part hereof by reference. This ratification
and acceptance of the Joint Action Ordinance shall constitute a municipal
agreement between the Town of Vinland and the County of Winnebago.
The County Municipal Emergency Government Director appointed
and employed by the Winnebago County Board, as provided in this chapter,
is hereby designated and appointed Emergency Government Director of
the Town of Vinland, subject to the conditions and provisions as set
forth in Ch. 323, Wis. Stats., and the Winnebago County Joint Action
Ordinance; provided, however, that the Town Board, when the Town is
in an emergency area, shall have similar authority as the County Emergency
Government Director pursuant to § 323.14, Wis. Stats.
