[HISTORY: Adopted by the Town Board of the Town of Vinland
as Title 5, Ch. 5, of the 2004 Code. Amendments noted where applicable.]
Any property owner, lessor or renter who is responsible for
an automatic detection system in the Town of Vinland, shall be charged
a false alarm administration charge for such call if there is any
more than one false alarm in any twelve-month period, as follows:
A.
First call when answered by the Town of Vinland Fire Department in
response to an automatic detection system and it is a false alarm,
shall receive a warning.
B.
Second call false alarm within a twelve-month period, shall be fined
$50.
C.
Third call false alarm within a twelve-month period shall be fined
$100.
D.
Fourth or more false alarm calls within a twelve-month period shall
be fined $200.
Citations will be issued in accordance with the Town citation
ordinance.
