No person, organization or association shall hold, operate or maintain a game of bingo unless a license is obtained pursuant to Title 5 of the Revised Statutes.
The issuing authority for said license shall be the Municipal Clerk, pursuant to N.J.A.C. 13:47-1 et seq.

Bingo, as defined in N.J.S.A. 5:8-24 et seq., is hereby permitted on the first day of the week also known as "Sunday," except between the hours of 3:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
Raffles, as defined in N.J.S.A. 5:8-50 et seq., are hereby permitted on the first day of the week, also known as Sunday, after the hour of 1:00 p.m.
No bingo license or raffle license pursuant to the statutes of the state shall be issued to any organization or association of veterans of any war in which the United States was engaged, any church or religious, educational or fraternal organization, civic or service club, officially recognized volunteer fire company or officially recognized volunteer first aid or rescue squad to hold and operate games of chance of, and restricted to, bingo and raffles, unless the applicant therefor shall be resident within the Town or shall have its principal office or place of business within the Town.
