A. 
In addition to the elected officials of the Borough, the following positions are created and shall be filled by appointment of the Mayor and confirmed by a majority of the Council:
(1) 
Auditor.
(2) 
Borough Clerk.
(3) 
Construction Code Official.
(4) 
Deputy Borough Clerk.
(5) 
Animal Control Officer.
(6) 
Engineer.
(7) 
Housing Officer.
(8) 
Solicitor.
(9) 
Tax Search Officer.
(10) 
Treasurer.
(11) 
Chief Financial Officer.
(12) 
Municipal Land Use Secretary.
(13) 
Health Recording Officer.
B. 
The appointment of said persons shall be for one year or until their successor is appointed and qualified, except that:
(1) 
The Borough Clerk shall be appointed for a term of three years.
(2) 
The appointment of the Deputy Borough Clerk shall be for three years or until his successor is appointed and qualified.
C. 
The Municipal Judge and Municipal Court Administrator shall be appointed in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 25 of the Borough Code.

The Deputy Borough Clerk shall assist and aid the Borough Clerk and in the absence of the Borough Clerk shall respectively perform all acts and duties required and authorized by law of such Borough Clerk.

The duties and responsibilities of the Chief Financial Officer shall be those as set forth presently under Section 5, P.L. 1988, c. 110,[1] N.J.S.A. 52:27BB-26 et seq., and N.J.S.A. 40A:9-140.1 et seq., as they may from time to time be amended.
