There is hereby created nunc pro tunc, as of January 1, 2002,
the position of Deputy Registrar within the Borough of Penns Grove.
Said Deputy Registrar shall assist and aid the Registrar of
Vital Statistics and, in the absence of the Registrar of Vital Statistics,
shall perform all acts and duties required and authorized by law of
such Registrar of Vital Statistics.

The rate of compensation to be paid to the Deputy Registrar
shall be established by ordinance.
Appointment is made by the Registrar of Vital Statistics with
a term of office for three years per N.J.S.A. 26:8-17.
