GENERAL REFERENCES
Subdivision of land — See Ch. 350.
Hereafter the following plan of the numbering of properties in the Borough is hereby adopted, and all public services now or hereafter engaged in by the Borough, such as police, fire, garbage collection, health, etc., will have reference to the streets and numbering herein mentioned, and prompt and efficient service will be rendered in compliance therewith.
A. 
Beginning at the intersection of Main Street and Constitution Avenue and running north, south, east and west to the entire lengths of their direction within the corporate limits, the numbering shall be as follows: the odd numbers shall be on the north and east sides and the even numbers shall be on the south and west sides of the streets in relation to said intersection.
B. 
Beginning at the intersection of Main Street and Constitution Avenue, on all streets parallel or nearly so with Main Street, running north and south, the numbering shall be as follows: the odd numbers shall be on the east side and the even numbers shall be on the west side of the streets in multiples of one to 100.
C. 
Also at the intersection of Main Street and Constitution Avenue, on all streets parallel or nearly so with Constitution Avenue, running east and west, the numbering shall be as follows: the odd numbers shall be on the north side and the even numbers shall be on the south side of the street in multiples of one to 100.
D. 
At all subsequent intersections from the intersection of Main Street and Constitution Avenue, the numbering will continue beginning with 101 and extending to 200 or as many thereof as may be required and adding an additional hundred for each succeeding block and section, following the numbering in the manner above. Where there are courts, squares or other highways not conforming to any of the above regulations, the numbering shall be established by the Street Committee of the Borough Council and furnished through the Borough Secretary.
All persons owning or controlling property and desiring to secure numbers may apply to the Borough Secretary. Said Secretary will maintain a map or plan showing the occupation of the premises and the numbers applied for. Vacant land may be assigned numbers where new construction is contemplated. In case of miscalculations or unexpected congestion, decimal numbers may be applied between the integer numbers assigned.
