The state construction code as established by Act No. 230 of
the Public Acts of Michigan of 1972 (MCL 125.1501 et seq., MSA 5.2949(1)
et seq.), as amended, is hereby adopted. Such code includes the building,
electrical, plumbing and mechanical codes. One copy of the codes adopted
shall be on file in the office of the City building inspector.

Pursuant to the provisions of the state construction code, the
building inspector of the City is hereby designated as the enforcing
agency to discharge the responsibilities of the City under Act No.
230 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1972 (MCL 125.1501 et seq.,
MSA 5.2949(1) et seq.), as amended. The City hereby assumes responsibility
for the administration and enforcement of the act throughout its corporate
limits.
Fees required under the state construction code shall be as
prescribed by resolution of the City Council.
