Authority. This section is adopted under authority of §§ 349.11 and 59.54, Wis. Stats.
B. 
Findings. On the basis of a traffic and engineering investigation, the Highway Department has determined that the statutory speed limit on portions of County Trunk Highway A, as described below, is greater or less than is reasonable and prudent, and the limits described below are reasonable and safe speed limits on the parts of the highway in question.
C. 
Limits. The following speed limits are declared to be in effect for all vehicles for the following described portions of County Trunk Highway A:
(1) 
Thirty-five miles per hour for all vehicles from a point 0.138 of a mile (730 feet) east of County Road G (north) westerly to a point 0.092 of a mile (485 feet) west of County Road G (south).
D. 
Penalty. Any person, firm or corporation violating any provision of this section may be required to forfeit an amount as determined by the state forfeiture schedule in effect at the time of the violation, which forfeiture schedule is adopted herein by reference. Violations may be enforced by citation or by any other procedure allowed by law.

(a) 
Thirty-five miles per hour for all vehicles on County Highway A starting at State Highway 13, going east to 10th Lane approximately 6,710 feet (1.271 miles).
B. 
Any person violating any provision of this section may be required to forfeit an amount as determined by the state forfeiture schedule, incorporated herein by reference.

A traffic and engineering investigation having been made on the following described highway, the maximum permissible speed at which vehicles may be operated on said highway, which speed is herewith established as reasonable and safe pursuant to § 349.11(1)(a), Wis. Stats., and Chapter 213, Laws of 1979, shall be as set forth herein, subject to erection of standard signs giving notice thereof:
(1) 
County Trunk Highway A, Town of Jackson, Adams County.
(a) 
County A: 35 miles per hour, Goose Lake Subdivision area: 35 miles per hour for all vehicles from a point 0.227 of a mile (1,200 feet) north of Fern Avenue southerly for a distance of 1.10 miles (5,810 feet) to its intersection with County Road EE.
B. 
Any person violating any provision of this section may be required to forfeit an amount as determined by the state forfeiture schedule, incorporated herein by reference.
A. 
A traffic study has been made in certain developed areas along portions of county trunk highways in Adams County. Pursuant to § 349.11, Wis. Stats., a speed zone is hereby established and set forth as follows, subject to publication and upon the erection of standard signs giving notice thereof:
(1) 
County Trunk C, Town of Big Flats.
(a) 
Forty-five miles per hour for all vehicles from its intersection with 11th Avenue westerly 0.50 of a mile to its intersection with State Trunk Highway 13.
(b) 
Forty-five miles per hour for all vehicles from its intersection with 14th Avenue easterly 1.50 miles to its intersection with State Trunk 13.

B. 
Any person, firm or corporation violating any provision of this section may be required to forfeit an amount as determined by the state forfeiture schedule in effect at the time of the violation, which forfeiture schedule is adopted herein by reference. Forty-five miles per hour for all vehicles on County Highway C starting from a point 0.40 of a mile (2,112 feet) east of County Trunk Highway Z easterly for a distance of 0.60 of a mile (3,168 feet) to its intersection with 18th Avenue.
B. 
Any person violating any provision of this section may be required to forfeit an amount as determined by the state forfeiture schedule, incorporated herein by reference.

A. 
Speed limits on a portion of County Trunk Highway E, Town of Chester, Adams County, subject to the erection of standard signs giving notice thereof, are hereby established as follows:
(1) 
Thirty-five miles per hour for all vehicles from the intersection of County Trunk Highway B and County Trunk Highway E easterly for a distance of 0.194 mile (1,025 feet).
(2) 
Twenty-five miles per hour for all vehicles from 0.194 mile (1,025 feet) east of the intersection of County Trunk Highway B and County Trunk Highway E to a point 0.959 mile (5,065 feet) east of its intersection with County Trunk Highway B.
B. 
Any person violating any provision of this section may be required to forfeit an amount as determined by the state forfeiture schedule, incorporated herein by reference.
C. 
This section does not supersede any applicable federal or state statutes or regulations that are more restrictive.

Penalty. Any person, firm or corporation violating any provision of this section may be required to forfeit an amount as determined by the state forfeiture schedule in effect at the time of the violation, which forfeiture schedule is adopted herein by reference. County Trunk Highway G, Town of Jackson, Adams County.
(1) 
Thirty-five miles per hour for all vehicles from the Freedom Lane intersection to a point 0.2 mile south of the Fur Drive intersection, for a total distance of 0.6 mile.
(2) 
Forty-five miles per hour for all vehicles from the intersection of STH 82 southerly for a distance of 1.74 miles (9,187 feet) to the intersection with Freedom Lane.
B. 
Penalty. Any person, firm or corporation violating any provision of this section may be required to forfeit an amount as determined by the state forfeiture schedule in effect at the time of the violation, which forfeiture schedule is adopted herein by reference. Penalty. Any person, firm or corporation violating any provision of this section may be required to forfeit an amount as determined by the state forfeiture schedule in effect at the time of the violation, which forfeiture schedule is adopted herein by reference. Forty-five miles per hour from its intersection with County Road G westerly for a distance of 1.94 miles (10,240 feet) to a point 0.290 of a mile (1,530 feet) east of 6th Avenue.
(b) 
Forty miles per hour from a point 0.3 of a mile (1,560 feet) east of 6th Avenue westerly for a distance of 0.75 of a mile (3,975 feet) to a point 0.25 of a mile (1,320 feet) west of 6th Court.
(c) 
Forty-five miles per hour from a point 0.25 of a mile (1,320 feet) west of 6th Court westerly for a distance of 0.580 of a mile (3,065 feet) to its intersection with County Road B.
B. 
Any person violating any provision of this section may be required to forfeit an amount as determined by the state forfeiture schedule, incorporated herein by reference.

Twenty-five miles per hour for all vehicles from a point 0.25 of a mile west of its intersection with South Park Street (west corporate limits) easterly to a point 0.10 of a mile east of its intersection with Hillwood Lane (east corporate limits) a distance of 1.34 miles.
B. 
Any person violating any provision of this section may be required to forfeit an amount as determined by the state forfeiture schedule, incorporated herein by reference.

Adams/Wood county line to Akron Avenue: 45 miles per hour for all vehicles from the Adams/Wood county line southerly for a distance of 0.763 of a mile (4,030 feet) to its intersection with Akron Avenue.
(b) 
Archer Lane to 17th Drive: 45 miles per hour for all vehicles from its intersection with Archer Lane southerly for a distance of 2.77 miles (14,655 feet) to its intersection with 17th Drive.
B. 
Any person violating any provision of this section may be required to forfeit an amount as determined by the state forfeiture schedule, incorporated herein by reference.
C.

Stats., and Chapter 213, Laws of 1979, shall be as set forth herein, subject to erection of standard signs giving notice thereof:
(1) 
County Trunk Highway Z, Town of Quincy, Adams County.
(a) 
Twenty-five miles per hour for all vehicles from the intersection of County Road F southerly for a distance of 1.17 miles (6,168 feet) to a point 0.167 of a mile (880 feet) south of the intersection with Dyke Avenue.
(b) 
Forty miles per hour for all vehicles from a point 0.05 of a mile (285 feet) north of Dakota Court southerly for a distance of 3.7 miles (19,690 feet) to the intersection of County Road F.
(c) 
Forty miles per hour for all vehicles from a point 0.167 of a mile (880 feet) south of Dyke Avenue southerly for a distance of 0.319 of a mile (1,685 feet) to the intersection of Dyke Drive.
B. 
Any person violating any provision of this section may be required to forfeit an amount as determined by the state forfeiture schedule, incorporated herein by reference.
A.

Forty miles per hour for all vehicles on County Highway Z starting at a point 2,600 feet (0.493) south of Czech Avenue going south to Dyke Drive is approximately 32,130 feet (6.085 miles).
(2) 
Any person violating any provision of this Subsection B may be required to forfeit an amount as determined by the state forfeiture schedule, incorporated herein by reference.

Limits. The following speed limit is declared to be in effect for Archer Drive and Aspen Avenue within Adams County:
(1) 
Thirty-five miles per hour from the intersection of State Highway 13 easterly for a distance of 4.9 miles (25,700 feet, approximately 100 feet east of Seven Sisters gravel pit entrance) or to a point 0.765 of a mile (4,040 feet) west of 6th Avenue.
D. 
Penalty. Any person, firm or corporation violating any provision of this section may be required to forfeit an amount as determined by the state forfeiture schedule in effect at the time of the violation, which forfeiture schedule is adopted herein by reference. Violations may be enforced by citation or by any other procedure allowed by law.
