The duties of the Town Accountant are governed by MGL c. 41,
§§ 55 to 61, inclusive (Tercentenary Edition) and amendments
thereto; but this bylaw shall not be construed as an acceptance of
any act which the Town has a right to accept or reject. (1937: c.

There shall be an annual audit of the Town's accounts under
the supervision of the Director of Accounts in the Department of Revenue
in accordance with the provisions of MGL c. 44, § 35. (1963:
