No person shall post or affix in any manner, paint, print, or
write, or cause to be painted, printed, or written, any notice, advertisement,
bill, picture, drawing or writing, upon any tree, post, pole, fence,
wall, or building without the advance written consent of the person
owning or having possession of the said tree, post, pole, fence, wall,
or building. (1937: c. XVIII, s. 42)
