A. 
Except as set forth in Section 81-1B, no person, firm, association, partnership or corporation shall engage in the business of auctioneer or conduct public auctions of any kind in the City of Somers Point, Atlantic County, New Jersey, without first obtaining a license from the City Clerk in compliance with this chapter, authorizing and permitting him to conduct the business of auctioneer and/or public auctions.
B. 
Every person, firm, association, partnership or corporation that shall engage in the business of auctioneer or conduct public auctions which shall include auctioning of any item listed in Chapter 207, § 207-1 or 207-2, must obtain a license in the manner set forth in Chapter 207.
