Every person owning or possessing land or having it under his/her
control whereon is located an abandoned well or a well in use shall
provide a covering for such well capable of sustaining a weight of
300 pounds or shall fill same to the level of the ground.
Any person who shall violate this chapter shall be punished
by a fine of not less than $250.
