A. 
The Open Space Advisory Committee will be made up of nine members, eight of which will be residents of Washington Township and one member from an acceptable land trust organization.
B. 
The members will be selected in the following manner:
(1) 
One member from the Washington Township Environmental Commission shall be selected by the members of the Washington Township Environmental Commission;[1]

(2) 
One member from the Washington Township Sports Advisory Committee, this member shall be selected by the members of the Washington Township Sports Advisory Committee;
(3) 
The Mayor will select two members; and
(4) 
Council will select four members: and
(5) 
One member from a nonprofit [501(c)] land trust organization with representation or involvement in Washington Township, Gloucester County. Selection of the person will be by the Mayor from submitted personal resumes and organizational resumes and recommendations by the Environmental Commission.
A. 
The terms of each member shall be three years. Terms of the members shall be staggered such that three members' terms shall expire each year.
B. 
Appointments by the Mayor shall be staggered such that appointed members' terms shall not expire on the same year. For the first year, the Mayor shall appoint one member for three years and one member for a partial term of two years. All terms to be renewed thereafter shall be for the full three-year appointment.
C. 
The Mayor may appoint himself/herself as one of the member appointments and shall conform to the conditions of the terms of appointment.
D. 
Appointments by Council members shall be staggered such that for the first year, one member shall be appointed to a full three-year term, one member shall be appointed to a partial term of two years and two members shall be appointed to a partial term of one year.
E. 
Appointment by the Washington Township Environmental Commission shall be for the first year, one member shall be appointed for a partial term of two years. All terms to be renewed thereafter shall be for full three-year terms.
F. 
Appointment by the Washington Township Sports Advisory Committee shall be for the first year, one member shall be appointed for a partial term of one year. All terms to be renewed thereafter shall be for the full three-year appointment.
G. 
The member representing a land trust organization will be appointed for a full three year term.
H. 
Associate members will be selected by the OSAC. There are no limits on the number of Associated members. The term of the Associated Member is three years beginning with January 1 of the year approved. Associated members may participate in all the activities of the Committee, but will not have approving of voting privileges.
The OSAC shall annually elect new officers (Chairman, Vice Chairman, Treasurer and Secretary) from its appointed members (Associated members can not hold office positions) at its annual reorganization meeting held at the first meeting of each year.

A. 
Creation; composition; terms of office. There is hereby created an Advisory Parade Committee which shall consist of nine members who shall serve without compensation for the term of one year from the first day of January of the year of appointment. The Committee shall be comprised of the following members, all of whom must be residents of the Township:
(1) 
Two members of Township Council appointed by vote of the Council.
(2) 
Seven citizen members appointed by vote of Township Council.
B. 
Responsibilities. The Committee shall advise the appropriate Township Officials regarding Township sponsored parades and conduct fundraising efforts in order to provide for a parade or parades to be conducted in Washington Township. Any funds raised by the Committee shall be deposited in a dedicated Trust Account, controlled by the Township Chief Financial Officer, to be used solely for parade related expenses. Should the parade for which funds are collected not occur, all funds collected or pledged shall be returned.
