The purpose of the RM Residential Moderate Density District is to provide for a broad range of residential development in those areas where public services are or will be available in the future while preserving the existing character of the land uses within the district. Further, it is the intent of the Residential Moderate Density District to provide for innovative and flexible designs in development.

1. 
Principal Uses. See Table 27-1.
2. 
Accessory Uses (subject to the requirements of § 27-1631):
A. 
Private garage and parking areas in accordance with Part 18 of this chapter.
B. 
Storage shed.
C. 
Signs, in accordance with Part 17 of this chapter.
D. 
No-Impact home-based business, in accordance with § 27-1619.
E. 
Communications antenna mounted on an existing public utility transmission tower, building or other structure, in accordance with § 27-1620.
F. 
Other accessory uses customarily incidental and subordinate to a principal permitted use.

A. 
Single-family detached dwellings:

Two-family dwellings:
