The purpose of the I Industrial District is to provide areas which can support the infrastructure needs of industrial land uses and provide employment opportunities related to those uses.

1. 
Principal Uses. See Table 27-1.
2. 
Accessory Uses (subject to the requirements of § 27-1631):
A. 
Parking and loading facilities, in accordance with Part 18 of this chapter.
B. 
Signs in accordance with Part 17 of this chapter.
C. 
Communications antenna mounted on an existing public utility transmission tower, building or other structure, subject to the provisions of § 27-1620.
D. 
Accessory uses customarily incidental and subordinate to a principal permitted use.

Minimum lot area: one acre.
2. 
Minimum Lot Width.
A. 
Minimum lot width at street right-of-way line: 150 feet.
B. 
Minimum lot width at front building line: 150 feet.

Minimum Front Yard. 80 feet from an arterial, collector or street right-of-way line.
4. 
Minimum side yard:
A. 
Contiguous to a commercial or interior to industrial district: no minimum.
B. 
Abutting a residential district: 80 feet.
5. 
Minimum rear yard: 50 feet.
6. 
Maximum structure height: 50 feet.
7. 
Maximum lot coverage: 70% total of all impervious surfaces.
