The burning of trash, leaves, paper or other combustible material is prohibited except during the following times: during the period of April 1 through October 31 between the hours of the rising of the sun until 7:00 p.m., and from November 1 through March 31 from the rising of the sun until 4:00 p.m.

The burning of trash, leaves paper or other combustible material is prohibited within 50 feet of any building or structure.
Any and all burning of trash, leaves, paper or other combustible material must be done within a container or under the immediate control of some person so that there shall not be any scattering of the burning material or any scattering of an unreasonable amount of the ashes created thereby.
The burning of garbage or other refuse which creates an obnoxious odor is prohibited.
No person shall permit to remain upon any property or within any building thereon any accumulation of wastepaper, hay, grass, straw, weeds, litter or other combustible waste or material of any kind.

Any person who violates or permits a violation of this chapter shall, upon being found liable therefor in a civil enforcement proceeding commenced by the Township before a Magisterial District Judge, pay a fine of not more than $600, plus all court costs, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, incurred by the Township in the enforcement of this chapter. No judgment shall be imposed until the date of the determination of the violation by the Magisterial District Judge. If the defendant neither pays nor timely appeals the judgment, the Township may enforce the judgment pursuant to the applicable Rules of Civil Procedure. Each day a violation exists shall constitute a separate offense. Further, the appropriate officers or agents of the Township are hereby authorized to seek equitable relief, including injunction, to enforce compliance herewith.
