The Board of Commissioners of the Township of Lower Macungie, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, hereby signifies its intentions and desire to form an Authority for the said Township, pursuant to the provisions of the Act of May 2, 1945, P.L. 382, as amended, for the purposes specified in said Act.

The name of the proposed Authority shall be the "Lower Macungie Township Authority."

The Board of Commissioners of the Township of Lower Macungie hereby appoints the following citizens of the Township of Lower Macungie to serve as the initial members of the Board of such Authority, and for the following terms:
William H. Hacker
For the term ending December 31, 1968
William T. Harris, Jr.
For the term ending December 31, 1969
Franklin H. Markley
For the term ending December 31, 1970
Thomas W. Morgan
For the term ending December 31, 1971
W. Edward Smith
For the term ending December 31, 1972
Each of the members of the Board designated aforesaid shall receive such compensation as shall appear justified and right under the circumstances and as voted by the Board of Commissioners.

The Board of Commissioners of the Township of Lower Macungie shall, at a meeting held not later than one month prior to January 1 in each year in which a vacancy occurs on the Board of said Authority, appoint as a member of said Board, a citizen of the Township of Lower Macungie to succeed the member whose term expires on January 1 of the next succeeding year and fix his salary or compensation.

The President of the Board of Township Commissioners and the Secretary of the Township of Lower Macungie are hereby authorized, empowered and directed to execute and file Articles of Incorporation of the Lower Macungie Township Authority on behalf of and in the name of and under the corporate seal of the Township of Lower Macungie.

To the Secretary of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania:
In compliance with the provisions of the Act of May 2, 1945, P.L. 382, as amended, the Township of Lower Macungie, which is a Township of the Second Class in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, pursuant to a duly enacted and published ordinance, hereby certifies:
1.
The name of the Authority shall be the "Lower Macungie Township Authority."
2.
The Authority is formed under the provisions of the Act of May 2, 1945, P.L. 382, as amended.
3.
No Authority organized under the Act of June 28, 1935, P.L. 463 or under the Act of May 2, 1945, P.L. 382, as amended, is in existence in and for Lower Macungie Township other than Lower Macungie School Authority created April 5, 1950, the powers of which are limited to building, leasing, etc., schools and playgrounds in said Township.

The name of the incorporating municipality is the Township of Lower Macungie.

The names and addresses of the members of the Board of Commissioners of the Township of Lower Macungie are as follows:
