It shall be unlawful for a person who owns, has an interest in, or has charge, care, control, custody or possession of a dog, to permit the dog to be in or upon any Township park.

1. 
The above-stated general rule shall not apply to working service dogs including, but not limited to, seeing-eye dogs.
2. 
Dogs shall be permitted to be in and upon the upper walking trail at Ross Municipal Center Park and any other areas which may be designated by the Township by resolution.

A. 
It is required that any person who has charge, care, control, custody or possession of a dog, carry with them a bag or container suitable for picking up and disposing of the dog's waste.
B. 
A fine of $150 shall be issued to any person found not to be carrying a suitable bag or container and/or not picking up or disposing of the dog's waste.
C. 
It is required that all dogs be under the control of the owner or guardian by means of a leash not to exceed six feet in length.
3. 
The Board hereby designates Seville Park in its entirety as a permitted dog park subject to any requirements and/or regulations under Ross Township Code of Ordinances, Ch. 2, Part 3, Rules and Regulations Pertaining to Dogs in Township Parks.

The Board hereby designates Short Line Hollow Park in its entirety as a permitted dog park subject to any requirements and/or regulations under Ross Township Code of Ordinances, Ch. 2, Part 3, Rules and Regulations Pertaining to Dogs in Township Parks.

The Board hereby designates Denny Park in its entirety as a permitted dog park subject to any requirements and/or regulations under Ross Township Code of Ordinances, Ch. 2, Part 3, Rules and Regulations Pertaining to Dogs in Township Parks.

6. 
The Board hereby designates Mayer Park, Windhorst Park, and Oesterle Park in their entirety as permitted dog parks subject to any requirements and/or regulations under Ross Township Code of Ordinances, Ch. 2, Part 3, Rules and Regulations Pertaining to Dogs in Township Parks.

7. 
The Board hereby designates the trails in Evergreen Park as permitted dog park areas subject to any requirements and/or regulations under Ross Township Code of Ordinances, Ch. 2, Part 3, Rules and Regulations Pertaining to Dogs in Township Parks.
