A Park and Recreation Board is hereby established to equip,
supervise and maintain parks, recreational areas and facilities and
to conduct recreational programs in areas acquired by the Township
for public parks and recreational areas.

The Board created by this Part shall consist of nine persons,
to be appointed by the Township Supervisors.

The members of the Board established by this Part shall serve
for terms of five years, or until their successors are appointed.

The members of the Board established by this Part shall elect
their own chairman and secretary and select all other necessary officers
to serve for a period of one year.

The members of the Board established by this Part shall serve
without pay.

All persons appointed to the Board established by this Part
shall serve their full terms unless they voluntarily resign or are
removed by the Township Supervisors for dereliction or neglect of
duty. Vacancies on such Board, occurring otherwise by expiration of
term, shall be filled for the unexpired term and shall be filled in
the same manner as for original appointments.

The Board established by this Part shall have the authority to equip,
operate and maintain the parks, recreational areas and facilities
to the same extent that the Supervisors might so do, with prior approval
of the Board of Supervisors.

The Board shall have the power and duty to establish standards, qualifications,
and salary schedules to be approved by the Supervisors for all classifications
of recreational employees.

The Board's jurisdiction shall include the right to select employees
and discharge all recreational personnel appointed to carry out the
provisions of this Part.

It shall be the duty of the Board and its executives to submit an
annual report to the Township Supervisors, including an analysis of
the community recreational areas, facilities and leaders, with particular
reference to the extent and adequacy of the program and its effectiveness
in view of the public expenditures involved and the public needs to
be met.
5.
The Board shall have the power to adopt rules and regulations for
the conduct of all business within their jurisdiction.
