There is hereby created the position of Finance Clerk/Secretary for the Township of Eagleswood.
The Finance Clerk/Secretary for the Township of Eagleswood shall be appointed for one year, commencing on January 1 of the year of the appointment and ending on December 31 of that year.
To be appointed to position of Finance Clerk/Secretary for the Township of Eagleswood, an individual must meet the following requirements:
Read, write, speak and understand the English language sufficiently to perform the duties of the position.
Possess some knowledge of modern office methods, practices and equipment, of performing routine, repetitive and noncomplex typing work from varied types of copy, and of taking and transcribing dictation of limited complexity.
Possess the ability to understand, remember and carry out oral and written directions.
Possess good health and freedom from disabling physical and mental defects which would impair the proper performance of the required duties or which might endanger the health and safety of oneself or others.
The duties of the position of Finance Clerk/Secretary shall be to perform all secretarial and clerical duties of a varied and related nature as assigned by the Township Committee.
The salary for the Finance Clerk/Secretary shall established by the Township Committee and shall be paid in accordance with the provisions of the Salary Ordinance of the Township of Eagleswood.
