If any owner or person in control of a dog, upon receiving written
notice from the Township of Leet Police Department that their dog
is disturbing the peace and quiet of reasonable persons within the
neighborhood by repeatedly barking, fails to stop said disturbance
within 24 hours after receiving said notice, then said owner or person
in control is in violation of this Part and may be cited by the Police
Department or the Township's Animal Control Officer if one is
designated and, upon conviction thereof, shall be sentenced to pay
a fine of not more than $1,000 plus costs and, in default of payment
of said fine and costs, to a term of imprisonment not to exceed 30
days. Each day that a violation of this Part continues shall constitute
a separate offense.
