The elected Tax Collector is hereby designated as the Borough officer authorized to provide tax certifications upon request by the public, and the Borough hereby authorizes said Tax Collector to assess and collect, as compensation for providing such additional service, a fee in an amount as established from time to time by resolution of the Borough Council, per tax certification provided.

The elected Tax Collector is hereby designated as the Borough officer authorized to provide duplicate tax bills or duplicate tax statements upon request by the property owner, and the Borough hereby authorizes said Tax Collector to access and collect, as compensation for providing such additional service, a fee in an amount as established from time to time by resolution of the Borough Council, per additional tax duplicate provided.

The elected Tax Collector is hereby designated as the Borough officer authorized to provide certifications of sewage account status upon request by the public, and the Borough hereby authorizes said Tax Collector to access and collect, as compensation for providing such additional service, a fee in an amount as established from time to time by resolution of the Borough Council, per certification of sewage account provided.

On or before the 10th day of each month, the elected Tax Collector shall remit to the Treasurer of the Borough all sums collected during the preceding calendar month pursuant to §§ 24-701 — 24-703 of this Part, together with a statement identifying the requesting party, the property or taxable involved, the date of the request and the amounts charged and collected.

The elected Tax Collector shall be compensated on a monthly basis for the services provided in accordance with this Part on or before the 20th day of the month for the preceding calendar month. The amount of compensation shall be equal to the fees hereby established and actually collected. The compensation set forth in this Part shall be in addition to the other compensation due and payable to the elected Tax Collector for the collection of Borough taxes and assessments.

In addition to the services performed by the elected Tax Collector, the Borough may perform additional services related to the information, certifications and duplicates set forth above. In such instances, the Borough is authorized to access and collect the costs and expenses for providing such additional services, in an amount as established from time to time by resolution of the Borough Council. Such costs and expenses shall be in addition to the fees assessed and collected by the Tax Collector.
