[HISTORY: Adopted by the Town Meeting of the Town of Cohasset
as Art. VII, § 15, of the 1988 General Bylaws. Amendments
noted where applicable.]
No person shall consume an alcoholic beverage, as defined in
MGL c. 138, or have in his possession any such beverage with the intention
of consuming it in a public place or a place to which the public has
a right of access, or on private property without the owner's consent.
Alcoholic beverages being used in violation of this bylaw shall
be seized and safely held until final adjudication of the charge against
the person arrested or summoned before a court, at which time they
shall be restored to the person entitled to lawful possession.
Any person convicted under this bylaw shall be fined a sum not
exceeding $50 for each offense.
