The following streets or parts of streets, and metered spaces within the municipal parking lots, are designated as employee parking zones. No person shall park a vehicle between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday unless the vehicle has displayed from its rear view mirror a valid and current employee parking hang tag.

From a point 150 feet east of the easterly curbline of Irvington Street, east for a distance of 165 feet
A. 
Employee hang tags are issued annually by, and may be purchased from, the Clerk of the Borough of Westwood.
B. 
An annual fee of $10 per hang tag is hereby fixed for issuance of such hang tag. Tags shall be valid from September 1 through August 31.
C. 
Hang tags may only be purchased by merchants or businesses owners only in the downtown business zone. For purposes of this article, the downtown business zone is defined as the area bordered by and including Jefferson Avenue, Kinderkamack Road, Irvington Street, Madison Avenue, and Fourth Avenue. Hang tags will be numbered and assigned to that specific store/business. A current lease must be presented.
D. 
The Parking Utility shall from time to time adopt rules for the issuance of said hang tags and encompassing such matters as verification of eligibility, issuance of replacement tags and the like.

A. 
Employees may use employee hang tags only in the designated locations listed above. Meter rates for parking with an employee hang tag in designated areas are as follows:
Center Avenue North Lot (14 spaces only) - current meter rate.
Fairview Avenue from Bergen To Jefferson, both sides - $0.25 for four hours.
Madison Avenue north of Irvington Street - $0.25 for four hours.
Municipal Lot C (Fairview Avenue lot) (13 spaces only) - $0.25 for four hours

B. 
Employee hang tags are not valid outside of the designated locations. Vehicles displaying employee hang tags that are parked illegally shall be subject to violations and penalties.

A. 
The following locations are hereby designated school employee parking zones. No person shall park a vehicle between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on school days unless the vehicle has, displayed from its rearview mirror, a valid and current employee parking hangtag.
