The purpose of the Public District is to design to protect areas of the Borough for preservation and conservation of the natural environment to permit and encourage the retention of open space and provide for areas for parks and recreation and public services.
A. 
Permitted uses in the Public District are as follows:
(1) 
Parks.
(2) 
Public uses.
(3) 
Community building.
(4) 
Public recreation.
(5) 
Fire houses.
(6) 
Open space.
(7) 
Recycling center.
(8) 
Museum.
(9) 
Cellular towers.
(10) 
Forestry.

Permitted accessory uses in the Public District are as follows:

Permitted accessory uses customary to the above permitted and special uses.

The following special exceptions may be permitted by the Zoning Hearing Board, following review and comment by the Planning Commission, pursuant to standards and criteria as set forth in Article XV, § 500-105D:

Height regulations shall be 35 feet.

Unless otherwise specified herein, lot area, lot width and impervious coverage requirements of the following dimensions shall be provided for each structure or use hereafter erected, established or altered for any use permitted within this district: 20,000 square feet with a building setback line of 25 feet.
The following setback regulations apply to all uses permitted within this district, unless otherwise specified herein:
A. 
Front yard: 30 feet.
B. 
Side yard: 20 feet.
C. 
Rear yard: 25 feet.
