In accordance with C.G.S. § 7-34b, the Town Clerk shall receive a salary in lieu of all fees and other compensation provided for in the Connecticut General Statutes, effective July 1, 2016.
The fees and other compensation provided by the Connecticut General Statutes to be paid to the Town Clerk shall be collected by the Town Clerk and shall be remitted twice monthly to the Town Treasurer or such person designated by the Town Treasurer on or before the 10th day and the 20th day of each month.
The salary of the Town Clerk shall be established from time to time by the Board of Finance and the legislative body of the Town.
