Every driver of a vehicle approaching any such intersection upon the first-named street, in the direction or directions indicated in each case, shall slow down or stop the vehicle and then yield the right-of-way to any vehicle in the intersection or approaching on the second-named street so closely as to constitute a hazard during the time that the driver is moving across or within such intersection.

It shall be unlawful for the driver of any vehicle, classified as a truck by the Pennsylvania Motor Vehicles Code, travelling upon the first-named street at any of the following intersections, in the direction or directions indicated in each case, to make other than a right turn, at any time stated, both left turns and straight-across traffic being prohibited:

1. 
Definitions and Interpretation. Words and phrases used in this Section shall have the meaning ascribed to them in the Vehicle Code of Pennsylvania as now in force, or as hereafter amended, enacted or reenacted, except where specifically defined herein. The following words shall have the following definitions:
EMERGENCY VEHICLE
Emergency response vehicles such as a fire department vehicle, police vehicle, ambulance, rescue vehicle, armed forces vehicle, or other vehicle designated by the State Police under Section 6106 of the Vehicle Code (relating to designation of emergency vehicles by the Pennsylvania State Police).[1]
LOCAL TRAFFIC
Trucks engaged in construction or maintenance work on or adjacent to the portion of Fleet Street covered by this Section and trucks going to as their delivery or service destination or coming from a residence or business abutting the portion of Fleet Street covered by this Section.
TRUCK
A. 
All motor vehicles exceeding 20 feet in length, including trailer, if any; and
B. 
All nonmotorized vehicles or trailers designed to be or actually attached or connected to a motor vehicle which exceeds 20 feet in length measured from the front of the motor vehicle to the end of the nonmotorized vehicle or trailer.

2. 
Trucks Prohibited. Except as otherwise set forth herein, trucks are hereby prohibited from the portion of Fleet Street running between where it intersects with West Braddock Avenue to where it intersects with Braddock Avenue.
3. 
Signs. Signs shall be placed in such manner so that operators of trucks approaching the area of Fleet Street on which they are prohibited by this Section are afforded the opportunity to take an alternative route.
4. 
Exceptions. This Section shall not apply to emergency vehicles or local traffic.
5. 
Enforcement. Enforcement of this Section shall be by the Rankin Borough Police Department, which is hereby given authority to enforce same in accordance with all applicable laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
