XII, Removal of Alternative Energy Systems Exemption, adopted 11-16-2016
by L.L. No. 9-2016.
It is the intent and purpose of the Town Board to repeal Local
Law No. 9-2016, which was adopted on November 16, 2016, and which
removed any real property tax exemption for solar or wind energy systems
or for any farm energy systems pursuant to Real Property Tax Law § 487(8).
The Town Board of the Town of Manlius hereby reinstitutes the
state tax exemption for any solar or wind energy system or for any
farm waste energy system authorized under Real Property Tax Law § 487(8).
