A certain document, one (1) copy of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Frontenac, being marked and designated as "The International Swimming Pool and Spa Code," as published by the International Code Council, be and is hereby adopted as the Swimming Pool and Spa Code of the City of Frontenac in the State of Missouri for the regulating and governing the minimum requirements for the design, construction, alteration and maintenance of swimming pools, spas, hot tubs, and aquatic facilities. The 2015 International Swimming Pool and Spa Code is hereby referred to, adopted and made a part hereof as if fully set out in this Article with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in Section 500.026 of this Article.

The International Swimming Pool and Spa Code, 2015 is amended
by additions, deletions, and changes, including changing Chapters,
Sections, Subsections and addition of new subsections so that such
amendments read as follows:
A.
SECTION 101 GENERAL.
Section 101.1 Title. These regulations shall be
known as the "Swimming Pool and Spa Code" of the City of Frontenac,
Missouri, hereafter referred to as "this code."
Section 101.6.2 Fee schedule. The fees as noted in Section 500.031 shall apply.

SECTION 105 PERMITS.
Section 105.6.3 Refunds. Is deleted in its entirety.
C.
SECTION 107 VIOLATIONS.
Section 107.4 Violations penalties. Any person
who shall violate a provision of this code or shall fail to comply
with any of the requirements thereof or who shall erect, install,
alter or repair a pool or spa in violation of the approved construction
documents or directive of the Building Official, or of a permit or
certificate issued under this code, shall be guilty of an ordinance
violation, punishable by a fine of not less than one hundred dollars
($100.00) and not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) or by
imprisonment not exceeding ninety (90) days, or both such fine and
imprisonment. Each day that a violation continues after due notice
has been served shall be deemed a separate offense.
Section 107.5 Stop work orders. Notice to owner
or the owner's authorized agent. Upon notice from the Building Official
that work on any building or structure is being executed contrary
to the provisions of this code or in an unsafe and dangerous manner,
such work shall be immediately stopped. The stop work order shall
be in writing and shall be given to the owner of the property involved,
or to the owner's authorized agent or to the person performing the
work and shall state the conditions under which work will be permitted
to resume.
Section 107.5.2 Unlawful continuance. Any person
who shall continue any work in or about the structure after having
been served with a stop work order, except such work as that person
is directed to perform to remove a violation or unsafe condition,
shall be subject to penalties as prescribed by law.
