The following rules and regulations apply in Veterans Memorial
Park:
A.
No children under 12 are permitted without a supervising adult acting
in loco parentis.
B.
Park hours of permitted use: 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
C.
Pedestrian traffic only. No skateboards, bikes, coasters, etc. are
allowed.
D.
No access to the Delaware River or swimming is allowed from the park.
E.
No consumption of alcohol is allowed.
F.
All pets shall be on a leash and cleaned up after.
G.
No loud music or disorderly, disruptive gatherings are permitted.
H.
All trash and debris are to be cleaned up and removed or placed in
containers provided.
I.
Roadways shall not be blocked or obstructed and gates are to remain
closed.
J.
No organized events shall be held without the authorization of the
Town Board of the Town of Tusten.
Any violations of these rules shall constitute a violation and
shall be subject to the penalties imposed by the Penal Law and Criminal
Procedure Law of the State of New York as made and provided for.
Any police officer of the State of New York may enforce these
aforementioned rules and regulations.
Any member of the Town Board of the Town of Tusten or his/her
designee may remove any person or group of people who or which violates
these rules. The Town Board may permanently bar any person or group
of people for violating these rules by a majority vote of the Town
Board.
