A. 
Any property used for human occupancy, employment, recreation, commerce, industry or other public or private purposes, situated within the boundaries of the Narrowsburg Water District, is hereby required at the owner's expense to connect to the Water District supply.
B. 
Any property serviced by a private well that is in use prior to being incorporated into the district is hereby grandfathered.
C. 
Unless provided above, all private wells shall be banned within the boundaries of the Narrowsburg Water District.
The Tusten Water District shall review and approve all fire suppression sprinkler hook-ups in the Narrowsburg Water District.
The Town of Tusten Water District regulations are as follows:
A. 
The Water Superintendent or someone delegated by him shall have access at reasonable hours to parts of a building where District water is delivered for the purpose of inspecting the condition and use of all plumbing and reading meters.
B. 
All users taking District water must maintain their service pipe from the curb valve and protect from freeze-up at their own risk and expense. Each user shall take such steps as may be necessary to prevent the waste of water. Service may be discontinued by the District to prevent waste as a result of leaks in the user's service.
C. 
No person shall turn on water at the curb or service line without permission from the Narrowsburg Water District Superintendent.
D. 
A permit is required for all water service connections and the installation must be supervised by the Water Superintendent.
A. 
Water District rates and assessments shall be determined and set as needed by the Tusten Town Board.
B. 
The fee for a new installation shall be as set by the Water District, including the cost of any necessary parts, labor, material and equipment.
Any person violating this chapter or any of the rules and regulations of the Narrowsburg Water District shall pay and forfeit a fine in the amount of $25 for each and every violation. Each day that such violation shall continue shall constitute a separate and distinct violation.
