A Borough Planning Commission, to be composed of seven members,
is hereby created for the Borough of Sewickley. The said Commission
shall be appointed as prescribed by law and shall perform all the
duties and may exercise all the powers vested by law or ordinance
in planning agencies for boroughs and in borough planning commissions,
provided that the Borough Planning Commission in existence at the
time of enactment of this amendment shall constitute the Planning
Commission created thereby, and nothing in this amendment shall affect
the tenure of any member thereof; but all vacancies in the said Commission,
regardless of the cause thereof, hereafter occurring shall be filled
in the manner and for the term prescribed by the law governing borough
planning commissions in force at the time of the happening of such
vacancies.[1]
