[Ord. 106, 11/4/1961, Art. III, § 1]
1.
The Board of Supervisors may remove from the right-of-way of any
state highway or Township road in the Township any vehicle which is
parked in violation of the provisions of this Part when the Board,
in its sole discretion, determines such removal necessary to facilitate
the removal or plowing of snow or for any other lawful purpose.
2.
Such vehicle will be impounded by the Board of Supervisors until
the owner pays to the Board a fine of $25 and the cost of removal
of the vehicle, including towing and storage charges. If payment in
full is not made within 30 days of the date of the said removal, the
Board may sell said vehicle at public sale and apply the proceeds
toward payment of said fine and costs.
