It is unlawful and constitutes an ordinance violation to affix any type of temporary sign, poster or notice to any post, tree, pole or utility pole on any right-of-way within the City.

A. 
Every person who shall cast or track into or upon or allow to run into or upon any street, alley, public place or sidewalk or into any lot or premises of another any mud, dirt or debris shall be deemed guilty of an offense.
B. 
Any of the above acts by an agent, contractor or subcontractor of a person may be attributed to the person.
C. 
In addition to the punishment set out in Section 100.220 of this Code, in cases of new construction and/or landscaping, any person violating any provision of this Section shall have their building permit revoked.

It is unlawful for any person to remove snow from any private property onto any public street or alley or any other public place in the City.

Whoever shall, on any street, alley or thoroughfare of this City, engage in any sport or exercise likely to cause injury to any person passing over any such street, alley or thoroughfare or to hinder the passage of traffic over, thereupon shall be deemed guilty of an offense.

A. 
No person shall drive any heavy tractor, steam engine or heavy equipment over and across any sidewalk, curbing or crossing within this City which is likely to break or injure the sidewalk, curbing or crossing, unless the wheels of the vehicle be covered with rubber or with other similar substance or unless the sidewalk, curbing or crossing be sufficiently and fully protected by the laying down of planks or other material which will prevent injury thereto.
B. 
Any person violating the provisions of this Section shall be deemed guilty of an ordinance violation and shall in addition to fine and cost be held responsible to the City for the cost of repairing any break or injury to any sidewalk, curbing or crossing caused by the violation of this Section.

A. 
Flow Of Water. Every person who shall obstruct the passage of any water or suffer the same to be done by any person under his/her control, so as to cause it to flow upon any public street, alley or sidewalk and shall fail to remove such obstruction when required to do so by a Police Officer, shall be deemed guilty of an ordinance violation.
B. 
Sidewalks. Any person occupying any store, shop or office on either side of any street in this City shall be required to keep the sidewalk in front of or alongside of his/her premises free from any obstruction or thing tending to obstruct the sidewalk; and anyone failing to comply with the requirements of this Subsection shall be deemed guilty of an offense.
C. 
Awnings. All awnings erected in this City shall be required to extend entirely over the sidewalk over which they are constructed and they shall be at least seven (7) feet from the sidewalk at the lowest point, provided movable awnings may be erected over doors and windows, but they shall be at least seven (7) feet from the sidewalk at the lowest point. Any person violating the provisions of this Subsection shall be deemed guilty of an offense.
D. 
Doors And Gates. No garage or shed doors or gates shall be permitted to remain open so that they obstruct the use of any sidewalk in this City by pedestrians.

A. 
Whoever shall himself/herself or by another place upon any street or other public place in this City any obstruction not authorized by ordinance or make any excavation in any such places without lawful authority or displace or remove any stones, stakes or other landmarks placed by any officer of the City under authority thereof or injure or deface any property shall be deemed guilty of an offense.
B. 
Any person who shall attempt to construct any street or alley under the terms of this Chapter without having first obtained a permit for the same and any person, having obtained a permit for the construction of any street or alley under this Chapter, who shall fail to conform to the plans and specifications as approved by the City Council for the street or alley shall be deemed guilty of an offense.
