This chapter applies to minimum insulation and heating system standards
for existing buildings or mobile homes converting to electric heat
based upon the regulations of the Power Authority of the State of
New York, Part 458 of Chapter X of Title 21 of the New York Codes,
Rules and Regulations.
B.
This chapter also applies to the State Energy Conservation Construction
Code, Title 9 of the New York Codes, Rules and Regulations, Parts
7810 through 7815, covering all new public and private buildings and
construction of any addition, alteration or renovation of any existing
building which materially increases the heating and/or cooling requirements
of such a building.
