[HISTORY: Adopted by the Village Board of the Village of Grafton as Title 8, Ch. 8.08, of the 1979 Code. Amendments noted where applicable.]
The Village Deputy Health Inspector shall be the Building Inspector. The Deputy Health Inspector shall:
A. 
Enforce the health laws and the rules and regulations of the state and Village.
B. 
Keep and deliver to his successor a record of all his official acts.

The Deputy Health Inspector may, at any reasonable times upon duly executed written complaint of any person showing reasonable cause, enter into or inspect any place or vehicle to ascertain health conditions and to carry out the provisions of this title. Anyone who refuses to allow such entrance, examination or inspection shall, upon conviction thereof, forfeit not less than $50 nor more than $200, together with the costs of prosecution. In the event of a failure to pay such forfeiture, where no showing of indigency is made, the defendant may be imprisoned for no more than 90 days, as the court deems fit or until such judgment is sooner paid. The use of residential disposal units installed in accordance with the requirements of the Plumbing Code and approved by the Plumbing Inspector shall not be considered a violation of this chapter.
