GENERAL REFERENCES
Fee schedule — See Ch. 191.
The licensing year shall be from April 1 until the following March 31. All of the fees required to be paid, or paid under the terms hereof, are intended to be licensing year fees but, when paid, shall cover only the balance of the licensing year during which the same are so paid or payable except that new licensing fees paid during the month of March shall cover that month and the following licensing year.

The licensing year fee for the several licenses or permits referred to in this code are hereby fixed as follows:
A. 
Late fee for licenses when renewal applied for after April 1 of any year: $50 for license $250 and under, or $100 for licenses over $250.
B. 
License reinstatement fee (after suspension or revocation of license): $250 per reinstatement in addition to regular fees.
C. 
Excessive conditional rating penalty fee. Retail food service establishments and restaurants receiving two or more conditional ratings in the previous license year shall be assessed a fine upon license renewal of 50% of the normal license fee.
D. 
Retail food service establishments and restaurants receiving a conditional rating shall immediately be assessed a fine of 25% of the normal license fee. Retail food establishments and restaurants receiving a second, subsequent, conditional rating shall immediately be assessed a fine of 50% of the normal license fee.

Food markets:
(a) 
Up to 3,000 square feet: $250.
(b) 
3,001 to 6,000 square feet: $300.
(c) 
6,001 to 10,000 square feet: $450.
(d) 
10,001 to 30,000 square feet: $650.
(e) 
30,001 to 50,000 square feet: $750.
(f) 
Over 50,001 square feet: $750.
(2) 
Restaurants (per person seating capacity):
(a) 
Less than 50: $250.
(b) 
50 to 100: $300.
(c) 
101 to 200: $400.
(d) 
200 or more: $550.
(3) 
Vending machines:
(a) 
Nonpotentially hazardous (i.e., gum ball; coffee, tea, soup, etc.; candy, gum, cookies, etc.; soda, water, juice; and ice): $25 per machine.
(b) 
Potentially hazardous (i.e., milk, ice cream, sandwich): $50 per machine.
(4) 
Mobile food vendor:
(a) 
Motorized: $150.
(b) 
Nonmotorized: $75.
(5) 
Sweets, candies, gum: $40.

Temporary food license:

Hens and chickens. The fee for the annual license to keep hens, in accordance with § 464-2, is $10, regardless of the number of chickens covered by such license and/or renewal thereof.

Annual license/permit for sale of electronic smoking devices: $900.

Whenever in this code a license or permit is required and no specific fee is established for such license or permit, the fee therefor shall be $30, payable on application for such license or permit pursuant to § 485-1 of this chapter.
