This chapter is adopted under the authority granted by Ch. 961, Wis. Stats., as amended.
"Marijuana" and "practitioner," as used in this chapter, shall be defined according to § 961.01(14) and (19), Wis. Stats., respectively

It shall be unlawful for any person to carry, possess or use 25 grams or less of marijuana, unless such substance was obtained directly from, or pursuant to, a valid prescription or order of a practitioner filled out in the course of his professional practice, or except as otherwise authorized by Ch. 961, Wis. Stats. Any person who is charged with possession of more than 25 grams of marijuana or who is charged with possession of any amount of marijuana following a conviction for possession of marijuana in this state shall not be prosecuted under this section.
