[HISTORY: Adopted by the Village Board of the Village of

The Village Board determines that the statutory speed limits
on the streets or portions thereof enumerated in this chapter are
unreasonable, unsafe or imprudent and modifies such speed limits under
authority granted by § 349.11, Wis. Stats.
The provisions of §§ 346.57, 346.58 and 346.59,
Wis. Stats., relating to maximum and minimum speed of vehicles, are
adopted as part of this chapter as if fully set forth in this chapter,
except as modified by this chapter.

The maximum permissible speed shall be 25 miles per hour on
all streets, except as modified elsewhere in this chapter.

The maximum permissible speed shall be 30 miles per hour on
the following streets:

The maximum permissible speed shall be 35 miles per hour on
the following streets:

The maximum permissible speed shall be 40 miles per hour on

Washington Street, from 0.34 miles east of Seventeenth Avenue to
the east Village limits.
