Whenever the owner of any real estate in the Village desires
to have constructed a driveway from any street or alley to his property,
he shall first submit an exact sketch thereof to the Director of Public
Works for his approval.
All driveways hereafter constructed within the Village shall be one-course construction, five inches thick with the same foundation, materials and workmanship as specified for sidewalks in § 11.04.030 of this title. Where driveways are constructed across a sidewalk, the concrete shall be five inches thick with the same foundation and materials as specified for sidewalks in § 11.04.030 of this title.
No vehicle or other equipment shall be allowed to cross the
curb or sidewalk area of any premises without the curb or sidewalk
first being planked with material sufficiently strong to protect such
curb and sidewalk area.
