City of Port Jervis, NY Article XIV General Provisions

§ 445-159 Conflicts.

The provisions of any City of Port Jervis law in conflict with any provision of this chapter are hereby repealed.

§ 445-160 Severability.

Each provision of this chapter is severable from the others, so that if any provision is held to be illegal or invalid for any reason whatsoever, such illegal or invalid provision shall be severed from this chapter that shall nonetheless remain in full force and effect.

§ 445-161 When effective.

This chapter shall take effect immediately upon its filing in the Office of the Secretary of State.

§ 445-162 Applicability.

Articles I, II, IV, VIII, XI, XII, XIII and XIV shall apply in all incorporated areas of the City of Port Jervis. Articles III, V, VI, VII, IX and X shall apply only in incorporated areas of the City of Port Jervis that are also within the service area of the POTW.
