The Village of Allouez elects not to give the bond on the Village
Clerk-Treasurer provided for by § 70.67(1), Wis. Stats.
In accordance with the provisions of § 70.67(2), Wis.
Stats., the Village Board of the Village of Allouez hereby agrees
and binds the Village of Allouez to pay, in case the Village Treasurer
or the Treasurer's successor in office shall fail to do so, all
taxes of any kind required by law to be paid by the Village Treasurer
or Treasurer's successor in office to the Brown County Treasurer
or the Brown County Treasurer's successor in office.
The several sections of this article are hereby declared to
be severable; in the event that any section hereof shall hereafter
be declared by decision of a court of competent jurisdiction to be
unlawful, such decision shall not affect the validity of the other
provisions of this article.
This article shall take effect on the day following the day
of the publication of this article.
