The operation of any marijuana establishment, as defined in MGL c. 94G, § 1, that conducts adult-use marijuana retail sales within the Town is prohibited. Notwithstanding the provisions of the Protective Zoning Bylaw of the Town of Ipswich, this prohibition shall not apply to the cultivation, processing, or testing of marijuana for adult use nor shall it apply to the sale, cultivation, processing or testing of marijuana for medical purposes licensed under Chapter 369 of the Acts of 2012.
