GENERAL REFERENCES

There is hereby created and established a Planning Commission consisting of five members to be appointed by the Borough Council for a term of four years or until their successor is selected and qualified.
All members of the Planning Commission shall reside within the Borough of Bath. The present members of the Planning Commission shall continue in office until the expiration of the term for which each was appointed, or until their successor is selected and qualified.
The members of the Planning Commission shall serve in their respective capacities and perform the duties of their office without compensation.
The Planning Commission shall have the right and authority to promulgate rules and regulations to govern its procedures, and shall exercise those rights and fulfill those duties set forth in Article II, Section 209.1 of the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code of 1968, as amended.[1]

The Borough Council of Bath may appropriate such money as, in its opinion, is necessary and available for the work of the Planning Commission.
The provisions of Ordinance 268, adopted by Borough Council on October 6, 1969, are rescinded insofar as they relate to the creation of, and establishment of duties of, the Planning Commission of the Borough of Bath.
