Pursuant to § 43.54, Wis. Stats., the Library Board
shall consist of five members appointed by the Village President,
subject to confirmation by the Village Board, to serve staggered three
year terms. Of these five, one shall be a member of the Village Board.
In addition to these five, one member shall be a School District administrator
or his/her representative, and one member shall be a representative
of the County Board. Up to two members may be residents of towns adjacent
to the Village pursuant to state law.
The Library Board shall have the powers and duties prescribed
by § 43.58, Wis. Stats.
The Library Board shall submit to the Village Board an annual
budget proposal by September 1 and an annual report 60 days after
the end of the fiscal year.
