A normal workweek shall be that workweek established and approved
by the Village Board and/or the applicable committee; in the case
of the office secretary, the Village Clerk. Personnel considered working
extra hours or days because of emergencies and court appearances involving
Village matters are, with the approval of the Mayor and/or applicable
committee chairman, authorized extra shift pay.
B.
An employee is to be paid by the hour for additional work which is
continuous of regular hours or if additional work time runs into regular
hours. If the employee is called out and neither of the above exists,
a minimum of two hours is to be paid.
